The team was formed from the Angels and Badgers in the summer of 2006, both of Prudhoe Youth Club. The girls enjoyed their second season at 11-aside level finishing 4th in the league and looking forward to the new campaign in the Northumberland County Ladies League. The previous season they wrere crowned league champions, won the Neil Wederburn plate competition, represented Northumberland in the National Clubs for Young People 6-a-side competition, won the Bullocksteads 6-a-side competition and reached the Quater Final stages of the Blackpool tournament. In all a very good first two seasons. Last season the first in the women's league saw the team end the season mid table, losing 5-0 to Whitley Bay 1st team in the County Cup quarter final then in the FA Cup losing 5-0 to Blyth Spartans. In all not a bad first year at this level as these two teams play in the North East Premier League.
