Match Preview: Seniors vs Durham United

Jack Robinson19 Sep - 14:00

The Seniors hope to end their losing streak at Essity Park tomorrow afternoon.

Wednesday night saw the Seniors succumb to a fifth-successive loss, as they fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat against Park View AFC at Essity Park.

Durham United sit 19th in the league, having collected ten points from their fourteen games. The Seniors sit 18th on twelve points.

Kick-Off at Essity Park is at 3:00pm on Saturday 20th September, although supporters are encouraged to arrive early, in order to avoid mass queuing. Admission is £6 for adults and £3 for concessions. A printed Match Programme will be available on-entry, with it being included in the price of the adult admission fee.

The Opposition
The Seniors are set to face Durham United for the second time this season already, with the two sides having faced each other just two weeks ago.

Durham United will be eager to repeat their 2-1 victory, which would see them move above the Seniors in the league table.

The visitors will be entering this match in high spirits too, having beaten FC Hartlepool 2-1 in an unexpected result yesterday evening.

Players to Watch
The first player-to-watch tomorrow night is goalkeeper Sam Wilson, who continues to improve this season, giving the Seniors a solid foundation to build upon at the back.

The other one-to-watch is full-back Fin Baty, whose contributions at both ends of the pitch will be vital in any result for the Seniors tomorrow.

Good luck, lads!
